Introduction (Part I):
Have you ever wondered how we as Christians became subject to the rule and reign of our political system and those systems around the world?
Have we, as God's people, always been governed by the political system of the country in which we live?
Why, regardless of our party affiliation, are we so bitter and sometimes hateful over the decisions our government makes?
Does God have anything to say about the political systems around the world, how they work and His expectations for us as we submit to these systems?
The answers to these questions and many more similar questions are found in two small books in the Bible: I Samuel and Judges.
My position and perspective come mainly from the book of I Samuel.
